Rough top conveyor belt

Rough top conveyor belt is with cushioning and anti-slippery or anti-skid effects. Due to its coarse and soft rugged surface pattern on the top cover, it gives high friction between belt and the carried load.  Indeed, these type of belts are also called as Wavy top belts.

For conveying fragile or easily deformable goods such as paper sacks, parcels and cardboard boxes, particularly on conveyors with an incline, we recommend you to use a rough-top conveyor belt. Unlike regular smooth conveyor belts, rough-top conveyor belts have specially designed covers. It can offer maximum grip to the conveyed goods. The belt covers feature a rough rubber print on the top cover. The rough top is applied using a special process with impression fabric, similar to a mold. The back of the belt can be supplied either with or without a rubber cover. And that is often called dry-back or fabric back belt.

CARCASS STRUCTURE

The carcass typically consists of 2,3 or 4 plies of synthetic EP (Polyester-Nylon) fabric, for low elongation and good tensile strength.

BELT WIDTH RANGE

Belts are available from 500mm to 1600mm wide, with cut or moulded edges.

MATERIAL & APPLICATION DATA

DIN Y, DIN Z or Grade N covers for general applications. PVC rough top conveyor belt is also available on request.

Rough Top Belts are mainly for transporting light weight goods. For example, sacks, boxes and parcels, packages/bags on steep inclines thereby preventing slippage. It has a cushioning effect, mollifies and absorbs vibrations.
In general, we offer in two ply and three ply in cut edge construction in carcass type of NN and EP fabric

FEATURES:

1. The bare back rough top conveyor belt makes less friction coefficient. It is suitable for running over table and flat panel.

2. The design of mesh-like pattern on the top surface cover can generate the relief effect, absorbing any vibrations and impacts exerted on the materials conveyed and simultaneously preventing the material from slip.

APPLICATION

•             Used in transportation of light weight goods on inclined surfaces.
•             Package handling, labeling
